Constituency Coordinator

The Constituency Coordinator is the executive commander of all field operations, logistics, and electoral auditing within a specific Constituency. In the first phase, you will design, set up, and manage the party’s entire primary and nomination framework across all wards. In the main election phase, you will transition into the elite role of Constituency Chief Agent. You will directly oversee a network of Elections Agents, manage operations at the Main IEBC Constituency Tallying Center, handle high-stakes legal disputes with the official IEBC Returning Officer, and clear the final constituency results tally.
Responsibilities
- Constituency Command & Deployment: Recruit, train, and strategically deploy a comprehensive network of Elections Agents across every polling station in the constituency
- IEBC Executive Liaison: Act as the sole authorized executive representative to engage, challenge, and negotiate directly with the official IEBC Constituency Returning Officer (RO).
- Tallying Center Oversight: Manage the candidate's desk at the IEBC Constituency Tallying Center to monitor the collation of Forms 34A into Forms 34B.
- High-Stakes Legal Disputes: Formally lodge statutory complaints regarding tallying discrepancies, missing forms, or system failures, coordinating directly with the campaign's legal team.
- Parallel Tallying Center Management: Oversee the constituency's independent data command center, ensuring real-time results compilation matches physical forms.
- Final Result Verification: Thoroughly audit and co-sign the final IEBC Constituency statutory results declaration forms before official transmission

Must Have
- Academic Background: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university. A degree in Law, Project Management, Public Administration, Statistics, or political sciences is highly preferred.
- Professional Experience: Minimum of six (6) years of working experience, with at least two (2) years explicitly at a management or supervisory level handling complex field logistics or large teams.
- Electoral Mastery: Proficient understanding of the Constitution of Kenya, The Elections Act, and IEBC statutory forms (34A, 34B, etc.). Previous experience as an elections official/agent, coordinator, or chief agent is an added advantage.
- Local Residency: Must be a registered voter and resident of the specific Constituency where you will supervise operations.
- Crisis Management: Exceptional emotional intelligence, leadership stamina, and conflict-resolution skills to handle high-pressure standoffs at the tallying center.
- Advanced Data Literacy: Proficiency in data management tools, dashboards, and secure communication systems for aggregating constituency-wide results.
- Availability: 100% availability for round-the-clock operations, command meetings, and continuous deployment through election week until final declarations are made.
- Legal Documentation: Must possess a valid National ID card and be ready to sign an official party Non Disclosure Form during onboarding
